Tommy Evans has written a suite of pieces dedicated to his eccentric but much admired uncle - a marine who became an active pacifist, a priest who prays at the mosque, an interfaith preacher of acceptance and tolerance. How to get your gig added to the Gig Guide

At present gigs are added to the calendar by a small team of volunteers and friends of Jazz Yorkshire.

We will endeavour to get your gigs added as soon as we can but it is recommended to send them over as early as you can as it might take a few weeks to get them into the guide.

It helps if you can include website links for the artist and promoter as this helps people when they want to find out more about your gig.

It will also be quicker if you can send a Word or RTF document with the details rather than just sending a printed flyer

new feature - residencies

The Gig Guide now includes pub and club gigs which take place on a weekly basis. If you organise or know of a pub gig which should be added please let us know.
